OFFICIAL: Sunderland Seal €20m Deal for Noah Sadiki from Union Saint-Gilloise
Sunderland have completed the signing of Noah Sadiki from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise, in a major summer acquisition that signals the club’s ambition ahead of the 2025/26 season.
The deal, reported by transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, was finalized today, with the 21-year-old undergoing a medical in the morning before signing a contract that runs until June 2030. The agreement includes a €17 million base fee, with €3 million in add-ons, bringing the potential total package to €20 million.
Sadiki, known for his versatility and energy in midfield and defense, is expected to play a key role in Sunderland’s campaign as they push to solidify their place among English football’s elite. His arrival marks a significant statement from the club as they continue to strengthen their squad with young, high-potential talent.
The former Anderlecht youth product made a name for himself at Union SG with his composure on the ball, tactical intelligence, and ability to play across multiple positions. With his move to England now confirmed, Sunderland fans will be eager to see how he adapts to life in the Championship—or potentially the Premier League—depending on the club’s status following promotion play-offs.
Sunderland are yet to officially announce the signing, but with the medical and paperwork completed, all signs point to a “Here we go” confirmed.
