Manchester City concluded their Premier League season with a 2-0 win against Fulham, ensuring a third-place finish and qualification for the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League.

Ilkay Gündogan opened the scoring with a spectacular overhead volley, and Erling Haaland added a second from the penalty spot.

Gündogan’s goal came early in the match, capitalizing on a cross from Matheus Nunes that caught Fulham’s defense off guard.

Fulham responded with attacking efforts, including a close shot by Kenny Tete, but City maintained control.

In the 71st minute, Jérémy Doku was fouled in the box, leading to a penalty that Haaland converted, marking his 22nd league goal of the season.

The match also featured a significant moment as Kevin De Bruyne made a late appearance, possibly marking his final game for Manchester City.

With this victory, Manchester City secured their spot in the next season’s Champions League, concluding a challenging campaign on a positive note.
