Black Stars will reach 2026 World Cup final – Nigel Gaisie

Founder and Head Pastor of the Prophetic Hill Chapel, Prophet Nigel Gaisie, has made a bold prediction regarding Ghana’s national football team.
According to the well-known clergyman, the Black Stars will not only qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup but also reach the tournament’s final.
Speaking about the prophecy, Prophet Gaisie revealed that the vision came to him during a period of prayer, during which God showed him the team’s path in the upcoming global tournament.
He claimed that Ghana will begin their World Cup campaign with a 2-0 victory in their opening match and will continue to perform strongly to secure a place in the final.
“National prophecy… Black Stars of Ghana will qualify for the World Cup and play at the finals, prophetically! So shall it be, and nothing will or can change it. It is locked. I have been monitoring it spiritually; it is a done deal now,” he wrote on Facebook on May 12, 2025.
“They can choose to play anyhow; it is locked; they will qualify. Screenshot it… Our first game at the World Cup, Ghana will win by two goals ahead of its opponent. My name is Nigel Gaisie; I am gifted to see ahead of time. Hate me or love me… I see, and I am extremely confident about that. Go Black Stars of Ghana.”
Currently, the Black Stars are in a strong position in their qualifying campaign. They top Group I with 15 points from six matches.
Head coach Otto Addo and his squad will face Chad and Mali in September for Matchdays 7 and 8, before concluding the qualifiers against the Central African Republic.

2025 Hajj: First Batch of Ghanaian Pilgrims Touch Down in Jeddah

The first batch of 425 Ghanaian Muslim pilgrims from the five regions of northern Ghana has safely arrived in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to perform the 2025 Hajj.
The pilgrims were flown directly from the Yakubu Tali International Airport (TIA) in Tamale to Jeddah on Saturday, May 10. Additional batches are expected to depart in the coming days as part of the preparations to send a total of 6,000 pilgrims from Ghana to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this year’s pilgrimage.
This marks a significant increase from last year’s figure of 4,000 pilgrims from northern Ghana, reflecting a rise of 2,000 participants.
Government Officials Bid Farewell
The Chairman of the Interim Hajj Taskforce, Collins Dauda, along with the Northern Regional Minister, Adolf Ali John, the Minister of the Interior, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, and the Minister of Education, Haruna Iddrisu, were present at the airport to bid farewell to the pilgrims. They were joined by other government officials who expressed well-wishes for a successful spiritual journey.
Adequate Arrangements for Pilgrims
Alhaji Dauda urged the pilgrims to remain disciplined and law-abiding during their stay in Saudi Arabia to ensure a smooth and successful pilgrimage. He assured them that adequate measures had been put in place to guarantee their safety and security in the holy land.
He added that arrangements had been made for daily meal services throughout their stay in Medina, alongside secured accommodations in standard hotels in Mecca.
Goodwill Messages and Prayers
Minister for the Interior, Mohammed Mubarak Muntaka, wished the pilgrims a safe and peaceful journey, assuring them of quality service and well-structured arrangements by the Hajj Taskforce. He also encouraged them to pray for peace and stability in Ghana to support national development.
The Northern Regional Minister, Adolf Ali John, also took the opportunity to advise the pilgrims on the steps required to perform a perfect Hajj, emphasizing the importance of following guidelines and observing the rituals diligently.
Some of the prospective pilgrims who spoke with Graphic Online expressed their satisfaction with the arrangements made by the Hajj agents and the Hajj committee, highlighting their confidence in the preparations for a smooth and successful pilgrimage.
