Afenyo-Markin: “If I Stop Politics Today, I’ll Preach the Word of God”

The Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for Effutu, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, has revealed his dream of preaching the word of God if he leaves politics. Speaking in a recent interview, the outspoken MP shared that his faith has always guided his political journey, and ministry would be his next calling.

“If I stop politics today, I’ll preach the word of God. I have been dreaming about it,” Afenyo-Markin stated passionately.

He emphasized that politics and ministry share a common purpose—serving and uplifting people. According to him, spreading faith would be a continuation of his mission to impact lives positively.

For now, Afenyo-Markin remains focused on his role in Parliament, but his spiritual ambitions hint at a transformative chapter ahead.
